TITLE: CONTROLLER
Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000
Location: ENFIELD, CT?
The company Controller (manufacturing company) will manage and direct the financial affairs of the organization to maintain financial stability and compliance.?
This is a hands on position with a small staff consisting of a Chief Accountant and a Financial Analyst. The position reports directly to the President and is an important member of the Senior Management Team.
Requirements
- Planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities of the organization
- Prepares financial and management reports such as commissions, discounts, inventory, and sales
- Develop and manage internal controls and financial metrics
- Provide strategic guidance to the leadership team on financial matters and business decisions
- Lead financial planning and analysis efforts to support decision making and drive performance improvements
- Direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, treasury management, fixed assets, and risk management
- Work closely with Human Resources in regards to benefits strategies, workers compensation management, and, 401k administration, and payroll
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA/CPA/CMA preferred
- 10 years private industry or public accounting experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Self-funded group health insurance experience
- In-depth knowledge of accepted accounting principles
- Strong cost accounting background
- Familiar with incremental and marginal cost analysis
