Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support a complex, multi-entity organization within the restaurant industry. This role will have direct accounting responsibility for multiple restaurant entities. The ideal candidate brings strong full-cycle accounting experience, excellent financial reporting skills, and a proven background working in multi-entity environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting for assigned restaurant entities, including GL management, month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial reporting across multiple legal entities
- Support accounting operations and reporting needs for a broader portfolio of entities
- Assist with intercompany transactions, allocations, and reconciliations
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Partner with operations and finance leadership to provide financial insights and variance analysis
- Support audits, tax preparation, and special projects as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong multi-entity accounting experience (restaurant, hospitality, retail, or similar preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle accounting
- Solid background in financial reporting and close processes
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (Strongly Preferred)
- Experience supporting large, multi-location or multi-entity organizations
- Public accounting experience or CPA is a plus (not required)
