Overview
A growing, technology-driven organization is seeking a Head of Sales to lead and scale its commercial function. This company operates across highly innovative sectors including medical, cancer research, aerospace, and advanced technologies.
This role will oversee a team of 7 sales professionals and drive revenue growth across national and international markets. Ideal for a leader who can balance strategy with hands-on execution in a technical sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7 sales professionals
- Drive revenue growth and market expansion across U.S. and global markets
- Own and execute the sales strategy, aligned with company objectives
- Manage and grow key accounts within medical, aerospace, and technical industries
- Establish strong pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI tracking
- Utilize Salesforce and QuoteWerks for CRM, quoting, and reporting
- Partner with engineering and operations teams on complex, solution-based sales cycles
- Identify new business opportunities and expand into high-growth markets
Qualifications
- 8–15+ years of experience in technical, industrial, medical, or aerospace sales
- Proven leadership experience managing sales teams (5–10+ reps)
- Track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex deals
- Experience in regulated or highly technical industries
- Strong experience with Salesforce (required)
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
Preferred
- Background in medical devices, radiation technology, aerospace, or precision manufacturing
- Experience with international sales or global customers/suppliers
- Experience working with engineers in solution-based sales environments
