Contract Controller out of the Construction Industry is a must with experience in Job Costing and % of Completion, Remote or Hybrid. Details below:

Financial Leadership

  • Direct all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, and liquidity management.
  • Safeguard Company assets and ensure proper authorization and recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, forecasts).
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Maintain adequate short- and long-term liquidity and funding.
  • Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure timely reporting to COMPANY Group Finance under IFRS for consolidation purposes.
  • Manage reconciliation between U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements where applicable.
  • Advise executive leadership on financial performance and risk exposure.

Audit, Controls & Compliance

  • Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships.
  • Oversee preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls.
  • Ensure adherence to COMPANY policies and escalate violations as required.

Tax, Insurance & Risk Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely corporate income tax compliance.
  • Oversee foreign currency risk management and hedging activities.
  • Evaluate commercial contract risks in coordination with global functions.
  • Manage banking relationships including loans, FX transactions, and surety bonds.

Department Leadership & Talent Management

  • Lead and manage the Finance Department.
  • Develop and implement operational plans aligned with entity and group objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing finance personnel.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

ERP & Systems Leadership

  • Lead or play a key role in ERP system implementation or upgrades.
  • Align local financial systems with global reporting and control requirements.
  • Improve financial data integrity, automation, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives within the entity.

Experience in ERP implementation is highly valued and provides the opportunity to significantly enhance financial transparency, efficiency, and scalability within the U.S. entity.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in senior financial leadership.
  • Experience within an international organization reporting under IFRS.
  • Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and risk management.
  • Experience leading or contributing to ERP system implementation strongly preferred.
  • Strong internal controls and audit management background.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
