Unit Complex hiring for a Recertification Specialist

Pay $23/an hour
Responsibilities
– Oversee and manage the annual recertification process for participants in HUD housing programs.
– Ensure timely and accurate collection of income, asset, and expense information from program participants.
– Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents, including pay stubs, tax returns, and other relevant paperwork, to verify participant income.
– Assess changes in household composition and ensure that reported information aligns with program guidelines.
– Review and document changes in participant expenses, such as medical costs or childcare expenses, and incorporate them into the recertification process.
– Coordinate and facilitate housing unit inspections to ensure compliance with HUD housing quality standards, particularly in the context of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program.
– Collect, organize, and maintain accurate records of all documentation submitted by program participants during the recertification process.
– Provide support and guidance to program participants, addressing inquiries and assisting with the completion of recertification documentation.
– Monitor and ensure compliance with HUD regulations and guidelines throughout the recertification process.
Requirements
– Minimum of 2 years experience with Recertification and Housing
