Overview
A leading global manufacturing partner within the medical device and life sciences space is seeking a high-level Business Development Executive to drive net-new revenue growth.
This is a true hunter role focused on winning new OEM business and building long-term partnerships across complex, regulated manufacturing programs.
You will own the full sales cycle—from strategic prospecting through commercialization—while working closely with engineering, operations, and executive leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Drive net-new business development across medical device OEMs
- Build and manage a high-value pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Lead full-cycle sales: discovery ? RFQ ? proposal ? negotiation ? launch
- Develop strategic account plans to penetrate targeted OEMs
- Engage directly with executive stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and operations
- Partner with internal technical teams to align on manufacturing solutions and feasibility
- Lead commercial discussions including pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements
- Represent the organization at industry events, networking channels, and market-facing initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of hunter-style sales experience (must have proven new logo wins)
- Background selling into:
- Medical Device OEMs
- Contract Manufacturing / CDMO / Outsourced Manufacturing
- Strong understanding of:
- Injection molding, assembly, or device manufacturing
- ISO 13485 / FDA-regulated environments
- Experience managing long-cycle, consultative sales processes
- Ability to engage both technical and executive-level decision makers
- Track record of closing large, complex manufacturing programs
