Clinical Director of Adult Medicine (Physician) 
Salary: $270,000–$300,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Adult Medicine to provide clinical leadership and care in an adult primary care setting. This role combines direct patient care with administrative responsibilities, overseeing a team of physicians and advanced practice providers, and helping shape the future direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, managing chronic conditions and acute illnesses.
  • Direct and supervise a team of physicians and APRNs, including mentoring, training, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement policies and practices that improve clinical performance, efficiency, and quality of care.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring for students, interns, or residents as needed.
  • Lead or support clinical programs such as chronic disease management initiatives (e.g., diabetes, geriatric care).
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, patient communication, and treatment plans in alignment with professional and ethical standards.
  • Serve as a clinical role model and provide guidance to nursing, medical assistant, and administrative staff.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in a primary care specialty
  • Valid state medical license and DEA license
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in adult primary care with clinical leadership or administrative oversight
  • Strong commitment to patient care and ethical practice
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
