Salary: $270,000–$290,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care across a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This role involves conducting evaluations, prescribing and monitoring medications, and collaborating with clinicians and support staff to meet the mental health needs of patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic procedures and tests.

Provide routine follow-ups to monitor medication and treatment progress.

Respond to emergency psychiatric consultations and interventions as needed.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with accepted standards of care.

Document assessments, treatment recommendations, and care plans accurately in clinical records.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, clinical support staff, administrative staff, and community resources to support patient care.

Provide education, counseling, and health promotion for patients and families related to diagnosis, medication, and coping strategies.

Maintain productivity standards and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.

Support team growth and mentoring, contributing to the development of junior clinical staff as appropriate.
Qualifications:

MD with valid license or license-eligible in the practicing state

Prescribing credentials appropriate to the state

Relevant experience evaluating and treating patients with mental and behavioral health diagnoses

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to manage patient panels and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
