An orthopedic center is looking for a full time or per diem Radiologist Technologist in Plymouth.
Pay: $38-45/hour (Flexible)
Hours: 8AM – 4:30PM
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-rays as ordered by providers to assist in the diagnosis of orthopedic conditions
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to ensure understanding and cooperation during imaging procedures
- Prepare radiographic equipment and ensure proper functioning prior to exams
- Position patients accurately to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Select appropriate exposure techniques to achieve optimal image density, detail, and contrast
- Follow radiation safety protocols and take preventative measures to minimize unnecessary exposure
- Wear and maintain required radiation (RAD) badge at all times
- Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting clinic workflow
- Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff across multiple sites
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks without direct supervision
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Demonstrated teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to assist where needed
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Education & Licensure Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Massachusetts State License in Radiography
- ARRT certification
- CPR certification
