The candidate will efficiently complete coating removal, grit blasting, and cleaning of aircraft engines. The selected
candidate will be subject to random drug screens, as this a requirement of the FAA guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
• HS diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ year/years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently in accordance with FAA guidelines
• Have the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Attentiveness to detail and sensitivity to the nature of the position
• Be familiar with the processing of all substrates encountered on the line.
• Be familiar with stripping procedures for applicable processes
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Monitor condition of all equipment and recommended repairs and/or replacement as necessary
• Ensure parts are processed in accordance to specifications on work orders
• Thoroughly clean aircraft engine parts including but not limited to coating removal and grit blasting.
• Bake work, when required, within customer requirements
• Perform tasks from a schedule/predefined priority list
• Comply with requirements of safety committee, EHS department, and MFT standards
• Complete work order tickets, daily line logs (including FAA), customer parts riders; and related paperwork
completely and accurately
• Other duties as assigned
Schedule and Pay
First shift: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Pay Range $22-28)
Second shift: Monday – Thursday 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Pay Range $23-29)
